What is stored

Flights, documents and their expiry dates (for visas — the country, entries and how many days you may stay), loyalty cards with tier and points, “miles credited” marks, your name, email, phone, social handles, birth month (if you add it — for Emirates mile expiry), trips without a flight and day limits per country, your profile photo and settings.

All of this lives in a database inside the app. Delete the app and the data is deleted too.

Location

Used to estimate the trip to the airport. The app reads your location only while it's open, and no more than once every ten minutes.

Coordinates never leave your phone. We don't ask Apple or Google for place names: the city in your account is taken from the nearest airport in a built-in directory.

Camera and photos

The camera reads boarding pass barcodes and takes your profile photo. Barcodes are decoded on the phone; images are never sent anywhere.

Face ID

Your face is checked by the phone's system. The app only receives “it's you” or “it's not you” and never sees any face data.

Notifications

Check-in and departure reminders are scheduled on the phone itself. The app has no push server.

When data leaves your phone

Only when you act: when you export your flights to a file and choose where to send it, or open an airline's website. The airline's own terms apply on its website.

How to delete everything

Account → “Erase all data”. This deletes flights, documents, cards, personal details and photos. It can't be undone, so export your flights first.

This website

airstamp.app has no ads, no analytics and no cookies.

If you leave your email in the “Get notified” form, we store it with the sign-up date to email you once when the app launches. It isn't used for anything else or shared with anyone. To remove your address, write to [email protected].

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. As the host, Cloudflare processes technical request data such as IP addresses under its own privacy policy.

What will change

When accounts and sync arrive, this policy will be rewritten before the update is released. Sync will be optional: turn it off and everything is on your phone only again.
